SHIPPING 

For US
All domestic orders over $40 ship for free, same or next-day dispatch with standard shipping (3-5 days transit time). Please see individual items for more details.


For International 
International shipping, customs rates and a $6 handling fee apply. Please see individual items for more details.

 

 

REFUND

At The Chic Tale, we take product quality very seriously to make sure all products shipped are of highest quality. Handwoven items can have small loose threads , threads buff or minor gaps due to loom and weaving process. There could be slight inconsistencies in design, hand work embroidery , stone work , cut work items. Since these are done via hand these are not considered defects. There could also be small differences in the color due to the camera setting

In the rare occasion, if there is an issue or defect in the item we shipped you, please send us an email  at help@thechictale.com within 48 hours of the shipment being delivered with the picture of the defect and we will gladly work with you for an exchange/return.

 What are not considered as defects:

If a customer wishes to return , they will have to bear the cost of shipping the product back along with 5% restock fee or $12 which ever is higher.
Following are not considered defects :
1.The small knots/buffs/bumps in threads - these occur when broken threads are pieced together. This is not considered a defect.
2.Uneven threads connecting the border to the body are not considered defects.
3.Slubs - residual threads bundled together in tiny knots.
4.Minute gaps in and around motifs.
5.Dye 'bleeding' onto the pallu from the body
6.Loose threads in Bandhani sarees used for the tying and dyeing.
7.Color mismatch - colors are subjective, we understand & can vary due to camera setting.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
