We are still in March 2018 when I 1st decided to do something about my passion involving fabrics, design and art. The very next morning after waking up, it still felt like a dream. I could not believe what I had decided?
I was already hands full with a full time job , 2 kids , a traveling spouse and a plan to have a 3rd child. I laughed and nudged myself and started my day. Days passed , weeks went by , months flew by, I had my 3rd child - but the thought of doing something did not leave me.
Time swiftly passed and it was only in Dec 2021, that I finally had the courage to take a leap of faith. I started the ground work and soon after that ‘The Chic Tale’ was born.
I am very happy that I was able to do it. I had the courage to support my belief , my passion and slowly figure things out. Sometimes contemplating takes a toll on us. Some decisions may be hard but overthinking makes them harder.
I was also not confident, I had little faith in myself. I was unsure that I would be able to navigate all the hurdles , learn a whole new territory and most importantly come out of my comfort zone.
But today I can say this, I have got a lot of support from my husband , my family and my friends but most of all from my 3 kids. Over the past year I have met new people and in general moved out somewhat from my comfort zone.
As I continue my journey, I hope I can bring a lot more of Indian craftsmanship and curate a highly elegant and timeless collection for you..
